Well, seeing as Dad was the only person to even TRY a guess, he'll get an image. He was close enough anyway.
He's been informed of today's answer too, but he's not as easy to bribe off as I am. You'd be better off trying me.
Anyway, today was kind of a bad day. I mean, I tell my parents that everything went fine, that school was fine, and that I'm fine. And it's true. Mostly.
School did go fine. It did, really. Nothing's horrible about it.
I'm just lonely. I miss my friends... entirely too much. I swore I never would. I thought I was over it when it did happen. But every day... it hurts worse.
Tim told me that, "You're cool, man, you should have lots of friends." But I don't. I don't know anybody there, and I'm sure there's lots of other people in that situation. Because it's like the High School stereotype. But there are people that know people there. Lots of them. And getting to know one other person who knows nobody won't help you at all. I need to get to know people who know people.
Not in a popularity way. Just in a "I want to know people" way. And one at a time just ain't what it used to be, folks.
Anyway, Stephanie went to get testing done earlier today. Actually, all day today.
They've given her some fancy diagnosis. SI. Sensory... something. Sensory Ineptitude? Sensory Iguana? I don't know.
All I know is that, well, yay, we have a name for it. Now FIX IT.
But they'll say, "Oh, there's no real fix to it. You just need to treat her with love and care and hope that she grows up feeling loved, and will live her life normally."
Shut up and give her the happy pills already.
I know I'm a little... well, cynical of the whole thing. I just... don't see the point in going through all these tests to give it some fancy schmancy name. I understand the use of the name, but c'mon. Skip the technicals and get us some help.
Hmm... okay. The snark has left the building...maybe. I have two tests tomorrow (woopie, not. Oh, hey, there it is again).
Anywho, I'm done for today, I think.
