I am not blue... but others are I'm reading "Am I Blue: Coming Out From The Silence." And yes, it is a book about what it sounds like. It's a collection of short stories, and to my parents who are reading this and probably wondering why I'd be reading this, I'm not gay, but it was recommended to me. Heck, the school librarian read it, which I was kind of reading in secret there, but she caught me and she went on and on about how wonderful the book was...especially over such a controversial topic. It's a good book. I don't want to get into anything controversial myself, because I do tend to drag out soapboxes when they aren't necessary, but it's a good book. So. There. I said it. In other completely unrelated new, The Picture of Dorian Gray is gayer than the collection of short stories I've been reading. I'm just sayin'. So the Angel tonight was good... ish. Okay, is more like it. The plot with the new guy Lawson made no sense. He gave him a piece of his soul? What? Oi. The flashbacks were nice, though. It was like having old Spike with us again. Happy sigh. And, I can't express how excited I am about next week's. <-Ghost-> Listening to: Jane's Addiction in general. Quote: "You're a bloody puppet!!"-Spike |
