Time for school I aced the Biology test, go me. Wooed the teacher over with my knowledge of the bonus question. Again, go me. And I think I did pretty dang well on my speech. I guess I'll find that out later. Tonight, the strangest of the strange rituals of my school is going to take place, called Mini-School, where they deem my parents students, and then drag them around following my schedule. The only difference is, they only spend about 15 minutes in each class, whereas I have about 90. Darn them. I'm looking forward to them meeting my teachers. If we can avoid the Teacher From Hell, I'll be good. I have this whole thing where I keep telling the Newspaper Lady that I cannot keep doing everything she'd have me do on the newspaper, thanks to having to stay after school every other day for other classes. And she has this thing where she doesn't hear a word I say except for "newspaper," and then she gets all excited and gives me more work to do on it. I know I told her I might be able to work it out, but I'm honestly trying to get out of it. I don't have time, and it's adding more stress than I think my heart can take. She said yesterday that she would TRY and ask Blace about it, because, you know, she's actually in the class. But she said it in such a way that screamed "If you leave me, this paper will fail and it will ALL BE YOUR FAULT!" She even said, before nearly bursting into tears, that she's "so scared." Because, she thinks her newest class is a team of blubbering idiots. Can I report her for making her kids seem like idiots? Ah well, time for school. <-Ghost-> |
