Ooooooh! Where have I been these past few days? I don't know. I've been a bit out of it, I suppose.
Anyway, I'm here, and I'm not dead. Obviously. I am, however, hungry.
It's 8:12 on a Saturday. Why am I up? Mom woke me up to ask me a question, and I guess it was just one of those days where I had to get up right then.
Ugh. I don't blame it on Mom. But ugh.
I'm reading a new book that I'm enjoying thus far. It's called Caucasia. It's about a little girl whose mom is white, whose dad is black, and whose sister is far blacker than she ever will be.
And, this is happening during the segregationist times.
It's really good so far. Painful to read. But good.
