The Semifinals are over Well, the diagnosis has been made, and it turns out the laptop is, indeed, dead beyond all recovery. The hard drive failed. Yes, that means that it's a relief, because it is not anywhere close to being MY fault, but it sucks because I would rather take responsibility for something accidental than lose all of my stuff. I have enough of it on this computer, it's mostly just stories I had started that I was interested in keeping up, but...alas. New stories will come. My mind is a never-ending story-producing machine. It was kind of sad, watching us walk in with a laptop, and coming out with nothing but the power cord. It's like we had to put our dog down and all we got was the leash. Wah. They're going to ship it out to get the hard drive replaced, and I should have it back aroudn the 23rd, which means that I am essentially laptop-less for Spring Break. Le sigh. Midterms, or as I call them, Semifinals, that I know of, went pretty well. Algebra II is my only shaky one, but I did all of the extra credit, AND I'm pretty sure I did all of what I knew right. I tried to take my time and be slow and methodical, but... who knows. I know my Chemistry and my Spanish. Chemistry- 96 So, not too shabby. Child Development, I am almost positive, I did very well in. Close to, if not exactly, a 100 on that. Easy schmeezy. Pray for my Algebra II test, guys. All deities at work, here, I could use it. <-Ghost-> |
