Hey... it's actually me. And something ACTUALLY happened.

I got an Instant Message the other day, which is a rare occurrence from the person who sent it, seeing as, well, we don't normally talk that much.

It was wee Prather. Who isn't so wee anymore...I talked to him on the phone the other day and he sounded like Blake, who has a really deep voice. If you know Prather, then you would know that he used to have a squeaky little-boy voice... *sniffle* He's growin up...

Anyway, back when school was "in", we would "talk" about doing "things" together. Okay, enough with the ""'s.

We did this project in English, where we had to film one of us telling someone's story from their point of view.

Prather and I loved it. We were all over it! We wrote, we planned, we got props and had it down pat... and then we filmed it.

Our story had to be out of the Bible (I went to a Private School, but don't lose interest, please!) and we chose to do the story of Esther...

We wrote the King's take on it first. Prather was playing the King who had just dumped his wife, and was looking for another wife, and was subsequently (I wonder if I use these words right sometimes), at a bar, doing himself in.

That was pure Prather. But I suggested that we show him drinking, and later reveal what he was actually drinking. We scripted it out, practiced it... and used the other person in our group for one thing. He was the Bartender, and the only part of him you ever saw was his hands. Pouring Prather a drink, wiping off the counter, that's all you saw of him.

Like the hands in the Lubriderm commercial... they were good hands.

Anyway, we worked it all out, we bought our Gardettos to use as Beer Nuts, and we bought what would be the "beer" (Lemon Nestea, hee). It looked like actual alcohol when we poured it, and our teacher was a bit put off by that, but in the end she let us do it, cause hey...we had original thoughts.

And so we did it. Ever since then we had been talking about getting together over the summer, teaming up and becoming a world-famous comedy team.

Because, honestly, we were the brightest people at that school, and still are some of the few people we know with senses of humors like us.

Anyway, he popped up in the little AIM window and told me was going to make a script. I thought, "good for him!". Then he informed that he wanted me to help him out, I could come over and brainstorm.

I think I'm just emotional or something, cause... awwww! I love that little guy! He told me of his little plan...to do a Soap Opera Spoof, and that we would write and direct, and our friends would act it out.

I was hooked. We talked about what all we would need, and then he told me to call him, cause it was easier to talk like that...

Good lord that boy is amazing. He's come up with so many hilarious ideas. We're going to take the camera out to a park or something, and possibly a decoy camera, and film a random person.

Just...follow them around. Do a mock-documentary of them. And later, we'll go back, and do commentary over it.

We also had plans to make fake commercials, an action figure soap opera, an actual Soap Opera...with like, bars of soap, singing. Follow pets around and then later go back and do voice-overs for what they would be saying...

Film something, then go back and re-dub it. Do lost takes from movies or TV scenes, and completely screw them up, on purpose.

Take the stuff we do film and go back and bleep every other word...

Ask people questions in the mall, about completely random things, and get their reactions, then go back and do commentary over it.

Like, "This was the part where this one person was really sweaty. I mean, really. And he smelled really bad too." Nothing to do with what was going on, of course.

And, of course, the ever-famous, Behind the Music Special for Third and Main.

And a beloved gag reel of everything we do that completely messes up...

I can't believe we came up with this stuff...it's amazing! We really have no lives over the summer at all!

But, yeah, he wants me to kinda brainstorm up some ideas, maybe write out a few sketches, and we'll meet up sometime next week and combine our thoughts.

Geez... It feels nice to actually have something to talk about.

Okay, so, kiddies, if you ever see a movie or TV Show created by Rachel [deleted] and Scott Prather (or Scott Prather and Rachel [deleted]), that's us. E-Mail me now and let me know not to forget you when I become famous...

Because I want to remember the little people. *mwah*

Adios, mis muchachos!
