We had a pep rally today. I think, for me at least, that's an oxymoron. Nothing about a rally peps me up, trust me.
But I'm not exactly pepable at any time.
Anyway... to start with, they ruined a perfectly good Blur song, while introducing the cheerleaders. Note to School: Don't use songs that I like to do anything relating to- cheerleaders, sports, school activities, or, well... heck, just don't use songs I like, m'kay?
Ugh. That was depressing.
The band played a couple of cool songs... which was okay. And the dance team did pretty good. I have no school spirit, but I can appreciate good performances when I see them.
I hear we have pep rallies for every single home game. That's just... wrong. I wish these things were optional. I really wish they were.
But on the plus side, you get out of a class for a while, so, y'know, whatever.
